Building recommendations

1. Plan the position of the engine, cart and aircraft on the base first, leaving believable working space between the elements.
2. Build the engine in smaller assemblies and repeatedly check its fit on the transport frame.
3. Separate metal, rubber and wooden areas with appropriate colours; a thin wash will bring out fins, joints and mechanical detail.
4. Keep weathering restrained: oil traces around the engine, dust on the wheels and a worn working surface will create a more credible service scene.
5. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the Fw 190D aircraft kit is not included.
