This resin add-on kit from Clear Prop is designed to replace the standard plastic landing gear covers on 1/72 scale MiG-19 models. The MiG-19 was the Soviet Union's first mass-produced supersonic fighter aircraft, and its rugged yet aerodynamically shaped landing gear is one of the machine's defining features.
The resin covers in this set are cast with an emphasis on maximum fidelity, sharp detail and realistic material thickness. With thinner edges and sharply rendered structures on the inside and outside, they significantly increase the level of detail and authenticity of the model. They are ideal for model building with an increased level of precision or for use in dioramas with a retracted chassis.
