The KPM 1/72 P-26 "Peashooter" Pre-War is a model of the iconic American fighter aircraft of the interwar era that served in the USAAC in colorful pre-war paint schemes. The Peashooter was the U.S. Army's first all-metal single-plane fighter and a symbol of the technological transition of the 1930s. The kit features accurate shapes, fine paneling and attractive pre-World War II era markings.
The Boeing P-26 "Peashooter" was the first single-plane fighter aircraft introduced into the armament of the US Air Force. Built in the early 1930s, it represented a transition between traditional biplanes and modern all-metal machines. The aircraft was characterized by its open cockpit and distinctive landing gear. Although it was already obsolete at the beginning of the Second World War, it served as a training type and took part in the fighting in Asia.
This 1/72 scale kit from Kovozávody Prostějov offers detailed plastic mouldings from new moulds. Includes three different camouflage variants for the pre-war period. The model is suitable for both display and diorama use, and the smaller scale allows for easy processing in a smaller space.
The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
