1/72 P-26 "Peashooter" USAF
The KPM 1/72 P-26 "Peashooter" is a model of the first all-metal fighter aircraft of the US Army, which served as a characteristic symbol of the transition from biplanes to more modern designs in the 1930s. The open cockpit, fixed landing gear type was deployed with the USAAC and later with troops in the Philippines. The Boeing P-26 "Peashooter" entered service in 1934 as the U.S. Army's first all-metal single-plane fighter.
