The versatile 40mm Bofors anti-aircraft/anti-ship gun was a very common armament on U.S. Navy ships and was also widely used by other Allied navies. Among many other vessels, it was mounted on the sterns of later-production American PT boats. Our set is made from a combination of resin, printed, and photo-etched parts. It completely replaces the plastic parts in Revell’s PT boat kits and offers a much higher level of detail.
This is an add-on kit; the plastic model kit, paints, and glue are not included in the package unless explicitly stated by the manufacturer.
Recommended Use
- Degrease, clean, and dry-fit the parts before assembly
- Use an adhesive suitable for resin
- We recommend applying a primer before painting
- Model paints, brushes, or an airbrush are suitable for finishing
