Hobby Boss 1/72 TBM-3 Avenger is a plastic kit of an aircraft for assembly. The carrier-based TBM-3 Avenger torpedo bomber has a long glazed crew canopy and dorsal gun turret. The wings can be assembled folded or extended; supplied schemes include a multi-colour naval finish and an overall dark blue aircraft.
Over 150 parts on seven sprues are supplemented by a photo-etched fret and painting masks. The interior includes crew-compartment framework and seats, with separate clear canopy and turret parts. A radial engine and bomb bay with torpedo are represented; alternative bomb stores and external tanks are also supplied. Fine etched details are provided for the wheel bays. Wingspan is approximately 229.3 mm. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
