Kovozávody Prostějov 1/72 Hawker Tempest Mk.V 486th (NZ) SQ is a plastic model kit of British WWII fighter aircraft. This 1/72 scale model offers the possibility to build a machine in the colors of the 486th Squadron of New Zealand, which operated within the British Air Force.
The Hawker Tempest Mk.V was developed as a powerful fighter aircraft capable of countering the threat of German V1 missiles and effectively engaging jet fighters. The aircraft became particularly famous for its speed and success in aerial combat on the Western Front.
