AK Acrylics 3GEN AFV Series IDF Early Sand Yellow (17 ml)
AK Interactive AK11354 IDF Early Sand Yellow is an acrylic paint from the 3GEN AFV Series (18 ml). This sand yellow was typical of Israeli Army vehicles from the late 1950s until the 1973 Yom Kippur War.
For the 3GEN range the manufacturer states very high pigmentation, coverage and resistance; the paints are non-toxic and suitable for brush and airbrush. IDF Early Sand Yellow is supplied in an 18 ml bottle with a cap that makes the colour quick to identify.
According to AK Interactive, the colour was widely used until the Yom Kippur War on AMX-13s, Shermans, early M48 Pattons and most Centurions (Sho't); after 1973 it remained in use in the south and on the Sinai Peninsula. The manufacturer offers it in the AK11650 IDF AFV Colors and AK11648 Middle East War Colors sets.
