AK Acrylics 3GEN AFV Series RAL 6003 Olivgrün Opt.1 (17 ml)
AK Interactive AK11309 RAL 6003 Olivgrün Opt.1 is an acrylic paint from the 3GEN AFV Series (18 ml). From spring 1943 this olive green was one of the camouflage colours of German vehicles.
RAL 6003 Olivgrün Opt.1 is the first of two olive green variants AK Interactive offers in its 3GEN AFV Series acrylics. It comes in an 18 ml bottle; the manufacturer designs the range for brush and airbrush and states high pigmentation and coverage.
According to AK, a three-colour camouflage system was introduced in spring 1943, with RAL 7028 Dunkelgelb as the base and Olivgrün and RAL 8017 Rotbraun applied as disruptive patterns. Because both were supplied to the troops as emulsion paints, their appearance varied – which is why AK offers two green shades. This version is part of the AK11656 1937-44 Panzer Colors, AK11664 German Standard Colors 1943-45 and AK11654 1945 Panzer Colors sets.
