AK Acrylics 3GEN AFV Series RAL 7008 Graugrün Opt 2 (17 ml)
AK Interactive AK11314 RAL 7008 Graugrün Opt 2 is an acrylic paint from the 3GEN AFV Series (18 ml). It is the second variant of the RAL 7008 grey-green that AK also offers as AK11313.
Besides the standard AK11313, AK Interactive offers RAL 7008 Graugrün in a second variant labelled Opt 2. It belongs to the third-generation 3GEN AFV Series, which the manufacturer intends for military vehicles of all eras and for brush and airbrush; the bottle holds 18 ml.
In the description of its AK11652 Afrika Korps Colors 1941-43 set, which contains the AK11313 version, AK describes RAL 7008 Graugrün as one of the first camouflage colours chosen in March 1941 specifically for vehicles in Africa, where it complemented RAL 8000 Gelbbraun. The second variant gives modellers a choice between two interpretations of the same shade for German vehicles in North Africa.
