The two-colour scheme introduced in February 1937 combined AII Green upper surfaces with AII Aluminium undersides and was carried, for example, by the I-15bis and U-2. From June 1940, according to AK Interactive, AII Green remained the upper-surface colour of mixed-construction aircraft, while all-metal machines received A-19f.

The manufacturer also offers the colour in the AK11740 Soviet Aircraft Colors 1930s-1941 set. It is a third-generation (3GEN) acrylic for brush and airbrush with high pigmentation and coverage as stated by AK Interactive, in an 18 ml bottle. It is useful for models of biplanes and other Soviet aircraft from 1937–1941.
