AK Acrylics 3GEN AFV Series RAL 7027 Grau (17 ml)
AK Interactive AK11317 RAL 7027 Grau is an acrylic paint from the 3GEN AFV Series in an 18 ml bottle. This grey was introduced in March 1942, together with RAL 8020 Braun, for German vehicles in North Africa.
RAL 7027 Grau is found in AK Interactive's third-generation 3GEN AFV Series, the acrylic range focused on military vehicle colours. The bottle holds 18 ml, and the manufacturer designs the paint for brush and airbrush work.
AK includes the shade in its AK11652 Afrika Korps Colors 1941-43 set. According to the manufacturer, in March 1942 RAL 8020 Braun and RAL 7027 Grau replaced the earlier African colours RAL 8000 Gelbbraun and RAL 7008 Graugrün. The grey thus suits models of German vehicles from the later phase of the North African fighting up to May 1943.
