The AK Interactive AK11905 IJA #30 Karekusa iro (Dry Grass) acrylic comes from the 3GEN Aircraft Series (18 ml). Karekusa iro, the colour of dry grass, is one of the eight Imperial Japanese Army Air Force shades in the AK11735 set.
The shade is part of the 3GEN Aircraft Series, in which AK Interactive gathers specific aircraft colours of different air forces and periods. The bottle holds 18 ml and, according to the manufacturer, the paint is suited to brush and airbrush alike.
According to AK Interactive, the AK11735 WWII IJAAF Aircraft Colors set covers six standard exterior colours and two common interior colours of Second World War IJAAF aircraft, researched by the author of the Aviation of Japan blog. The manufacturer recommends the set for models such as the Ki-27, Ki-43 Hayabusa, Ki-44 Shoki, Ki-61 Hien, Ki-84 Hayate and Ki-100, making Karekusa iro part of the palette for wartime Japanese Army aircraft.
