AK Acrylics 3GEN Aircraft Series IJN Q1 Anti-glare Blue-black (17 ml)
AK Interactive AK11895 IJN Q1 Anti-Glare Blue-Black is an acrylic paint from the 3GEN Aircraft Series (18 ml). Blue-black Q1 is the anti-glare colour of Imperial Japanese Navy aircraft of the Second World War.
As the name says, Q1 is for anti-glare areas. AK Interactive counts it among the five standard exterior colours of the AK11737 WWII IJN Aircraft Colors set, developed with the author of the Aviation of Japan blog. The maker intends the set for models of the A6M Zero, J1N Gekko, J2M Raiden, N1K-J Shiden and other Imperial Japanese Navy aircraft. Under the name RAF Night (Blue-Black), AK Interactive also includes the same paint in the AK11724 WWII RAF Temperate Land Scheme set, where it represents the underside colour of RAF night bombers.
Q1 is a third-generation (3GEN) acrylic for brush and airbrush, with high pigmentation and coverage stated by AK Interactive. The bottle holds 18 ml.
