AK Acrylics 3GEN Aircraft Series Rlm 62 (17 ml)
AK Interactive 3GEN Aircraft Series AK11815 RLM 62 is an acrylic for aircraft modellers, supplied in 18 ml. Green RLM 62 formed, with RLM 61 and 63, the tri-colour upper surface camouflage of Luftwaffe aircraft in the late 1930s.
Within the AK Interactive range, RLM 62 is part of the Aircraft Series of 3GEN acrylics. According to the manufacturer, paints of this generation work with brush and airbrush and offer very high pigmentation and coverage. The bottle contains 18 ml.
AK Interactive notes that all front-line Luftwaffe aircraft were painted in this pattern from 1936; it was officially superseded by RLM 70/71 in late 1937, but many aircraft still wore it in the first campaigns of the war. The paint is included in the AK11715 Luftwaffe Pre-WWII Aircraft Colors set and in the AK11714 set for Legion Condor aircraft of the Spanish Civil War, for which the manufacturer lists types such as the He 45, He 51, He 70, Hs 123 and Hs 126.
