AK Acrylics 3GEN Aircraft Series Rlm 66 (1938) (17 ml)
AK Interactive 3GEN Aircraft Series AK11819 RLM 66 (1938) is an acrylic paint for the cockpits and interiors of German aircraft. According to the manufacturer, this RLM 66 variant is based on the 1938 colour chart.
The paint belongs to the Aircraft Series, the aviation range of AK Interactive's third-generation (3GEN) acrylics. The manufacturer highlights high pigmentation, coverage and resistance and designs it for brush and airbrush.
AK Interactive states that the shade is based on samples from the original Farbtontafeln colour charts issued with the L.Dv. 521/1 of 1938. It is part of the AK11722 WWII Luftwaffe Cockpit & Interior Colors set, alongside the second RLM 66 variant and both versions of RLM 02, and of the AK11717 WWII Luftwaffe Mid-War Colors set, where the manufacturer lists RLM 66 as the cockpit and interior colour of the mid-war period.
