AK Acrylics 3GEN Aircraft Series Rlm 70 (17 ml)
AK Interactive AK11821 RLM 70 is an acrylic paint from the 3GEN Aircraft Series in the dark green Luftwaffe shade. According to the manufacturer, RLM 70 was the standard propeller blade colour throughout the Second World War.
RLM 70 belongs to the Aircraft Series, which AK Interactive dedicates to specific aircraft colours of different air forces and periods (FS, RAL and other standards). The manufacturer designs these third-generation acrylics for brush and airbrush.
AK Interactive has included the paint in the AK11716 WWII Luftwaffe Early War Colors, AK11717 WWII Luftwaffe Mid-War Colors and AK11714 Spanish Civil War – Legion Condor Aircraft Colors sets. The manufacturer notes that the RLM 70/71/65 scheme remained in use on bombers, ground-attack and reconnaissance aircraft until late 1944; in Spain the RLM 70/71 splinter pattern was worn by types such as the Do 17 P, Hs 126 and Ju 87 B.
