AK Interactive AK8039 Foam Texturizer & Sealer (250 ml) prepares foam sheets and molded foam parts for building structures, terrain, and dioramas. The fine acrylic paste does not etch the foam; it seals its surface and creates a base for further painting and weathering.
Recommended Procedure
- Clean the foam of dust and loose particles.
- Apply the paste with a putty knife or an old brush and spread it in a continuous layer. It can be diluted with water as needed.
- Adjust the texture while the paste is still wet. The manufacturer specifies a drying time of approximately one hour, depending on the layer thickness and conditions.
- Once dry, the neutral white surface can be painted with standard model paints.
