AK Dioramas WATER GEL SWAMP GREEN EFFECTS - 250ml (Acrylic)
AK Interactive AK8006 Water Gel Swamp Green (250 ml) is an acrylic gel designed for brownish-green swamp water. It is applied in controlled layers of 0.1–3 mm; the manufacturer recommends allowing approximately 24 hours for it to dry completely.
AK Interactive AK8006 Water Gel Swamp Green (250 ml) creates brownish-green swamp water. The gel is designed for shallow and rugged water in dioramas, vignettes, and on bases; after application, the surface can be shaped to create a subtle ripple effect.
Recommended Procedure
- First, prepare the base with paint; painting beneath the gel creates optical depth and affects the final shade of the water.
- Apply the gel with a putty knife or an old brush in a layer 0.1–3 mm thick. For better flow, it can be carefully thinned with water or acrylic thinner.
- Adjust the surface while it is still workable. Build up a stronger effect only after the previous layer has dried.
- Let it dry for approximately 24 hours; the actual drying time depends on the thickness, temperature, and humidity.
