AK Interactive AK2019 Aircraft Engine Oil (35 ml) Used to create the effect of a lighter-colored aircraft engine oil with a viscous and glossy appearance. It is intended for oil stains and leaks on engines, mechanical parts, and horizontal surfaces of aircraft or in airport environments. The shade is lighter than the oil used in many ground vehicles and is appropriate for aviation use.
Recommended Procedure
- Shake the bottle thoroughly and work on a dry, clean, and fully cured surface.
- Using a fine brush, apply small spots, drops, and streaks only to areas where liquid or lubricant would actually leak.
- For a fresh and vivid effect, use the product straight from the bottle. For older, fainter, or partially wiped-away marks, dilute it with White Spirit.
- Adjust the size and intensity of the spots with a clean brush dampened with thinner. Apply the next coat only after the previous one has dried.
- Allow the layer to dry thoroughly before applying another coat of paint or another enamel effect.
Use AK Interactive White Spirit 35 ml to blend and remove excess. For finer work and less odor, AK Interactive Odorless Thinner 35 ml is recommended.
