AK Interactive AKB018 Synthetic Brush Liner 17 mm is a modeling brush designed for precise brushwork. Its shape and size are ideal for painting long, thin lines, cables, edges, eyes, freehand work, and very precise detailing. The synthetic bristles work well with acrylic paints, washi, and inks, and with proper care, they retain their shape and flexibility.
Recommended Procedure
- Before first use, lightly rinse the brush and shape the tip or edge.
- Load paint only onto the working part of the bristles, not all the way up to the metal ferrule. This makes the brush easier to clean and helps it last longer.
- When working with acrylic paints, it’s best to apply multiple thin layers. For a smoother stroke, you can use a suitable medium or drying retarder.
- Clean and reshape the brush immediately after use. Do not leave it standing with the tip in water or thinner.
