The AK Interactive Stainless Steel Paint Brush Cleaner is an all-stainless-steel container for cleaning modelling brushes, made up of two separable parts. The base acts as a reservoir for water, thinner or another suitable cleaner, while the top part carries a strainer, an integrated zigzag scraper and a spiral holder. Paint and pigment residues settle at the bottom of the container, keeping the cleaning process tidy and organised. After use both parts can be taken apart, emptied and washed.
The spiral holder lets you hang brushes in place - simply spread the spring slightly and secure the brush. The bristles then stay clear of the bottom while soaking in liquid, avoiding bending or permanent deformation, and the holder also allows brushes to be kept head down. The stainless steel construction stands up to aggressive cleaning agents, which translates into a long service life.
The product is intended for work with oil and acrylic paints, enamels, varnishes and inks, making it equally useful for plastic kit building and for painting figures and miniatures. Packed weight is 0.292 kg.
