The delicate texture of the leaves allows you to create a layer of fallen leaves on the ground, add to bushes and trees, or accentuate the surroundings of paths, trenches, buildings, and abandoned vehicles.
Recommended Procedure
- First, paint the surface and apply a base patina. The leaves look best when they are not placed on a clean, single-color background.
- Apply a small amount of white glue, diluted white glue, or AK118 to the areas where the leaves are to be attached.
- Sprinkle the leaves in thin, irregular layers. Once dry, gently brush off or vacuum up any excess.
- For greater depth, combine several shades and, once dry, add a very fine pigment or filter to match the scene’s environment.
White glue or AK Interactive AK118 Gravel & Sand Fixer is recommended for securing the leaves.
