AK-Interactive Fire Land (AK1218) offers a visually powerful effect of red, limestone soil that evokes the surfaces of volcanic planets, hellish plains, or places where the earth is scorched by constant heat. The red hue of the texture immediately gives the model an aggressive and dramatic look.

This texture is ideal for representing terrains where conditions for life are almost impossible. It contrasts perfectly with the black colour of the lava stones, the metallic elements of the uniforms or the light colours of the figures, which literally "stand out" on this dark red background.

Product details and tips for working

Wargame Terrains textures are designed to save modelers time while maintaining maximum quality.

• Easy to apply: apply the texture with a spatula or old brush. Its density allows it to create unevenness, cracks and layers that, when dry, perfectly imitate crushed limestone and parched earth.

• Combination: to achieve the effect of flowing lava, we recommend combining the texture with glossy varnishes or orange and yellow inks in depressions. The surface can also be enlivened with dry grass clumps or cork fragments to simulate volcanic eruptions.

• Drying time: depending on the thickness of the layer, the texture dries in a few hours. Once fully cured, the surface is very durable, which is crucial for game pieces that are frequently handled.

• After drying, the surface responds well to the dry brush technique (drybrush) with lighter shades of orange or sand to bring out the rough texture of the limestone.

Important note: The package does not contain paint or glue. Tools used in working with this acrylic can be easily cleaned with water.
