Tamiya 87068 Polishing Compound (Coarse)
Tamiya 87068 Polishing Compound (Coarse) is a coarse polishing paste in a 22 ml tube, developed specifically for plastic models. It smooths out rough finishes before painting and also suits clear and metal parts.
Tamiya 87068 contains relatively large particles and is the coarsest of Tamiya's polishing compounds for models. Tamiya intends it for smoothing rough areas on a model's surface; it is suitable before painting as well as on clear and metal parts, and washes off with water afterwards.
The tube holds 22 ml. The compound is most at home on car models with gloss paintwork and on aircraft canopies and other clear parts. Tamiya Polishing Compound Fine (87069) and Finish (87070) follow for finer work.
