AK470 Xtreme Cleaner & Thinner (100 ml) is a special cleaner and thinner for AK Xtreme Metal metallic paints. It is used to adjust viscosity and remove paint residue from airbrushes and tools.
AK470 Xtreme Cleaner & Thinner (100 ml) is formulated for AK Xtreme Metal metallic paints. If necessary, it adjusts their viscosity without being replaced by a standard acrylic thinner. At the same time, it effectively removes fine metallic pigments and binder residues from airbrushes and tools.
The manufacturer also recommends using it to thin putties or paints from other brands with the same chemical base. Always test compatibility with products outside the Xtreme Metal line on a small amount first.
Recommended Procedure
- Dilute the paint in small increments and test the mixture as you go.
- After spraying, remove any remaining paint from the cup.
- Rinse the cup, channel, and nozzle with a small amount of the product.
- When cleaning the airbrush thoroughly, disassemble it safely and wipe the metal parts with a suitable tool.
Do not use as a universal thinner for water-based acrylic paints.
