ASK Activator for CA glues - spray 150ml

This activator/accelerator for cyanoacrylate (super glue) adhesives is an essential tool when bonding under conditions where natural curing might be problematic. Its special formulation, containing a polymerization activator, solvents, and propellant gas, accelerates the curing process in dry environments, cold temperatures, or when bonding inactive materials, where natural reaction with atmospheric moisture or water in the materials does not occur rapidly enough.

The activator is easily applied using the aerosol spray from a distance of 20–25 cm onto clean and dry surfaces, either before applying the adhesive on one of the surfaces for small parts or after applying the adhesive and pressing the parts together for larger joints. The activator remains active for several hours after application, providing ample time for precise placement of parts.

However, it is crucial to avoid using it on materials that are not resistant to organic solvents or increased temperature, such as foam polystyrene, as accelerated polymerization can generate heat, potentially damaging the bonded joint.

To maintain the product’s quality, it should be stored in a tightly sealed container in a cool, dry, and dark place at temperatures between +5°C and +25°C. Avoid exposure to temperatures below +2°C. When stored correctly, the product is guaranteed to last for 1 year in unopened packaging.
