This debonder/remover is specifically designed to break down and remove cured cyanoacrylate (super glue), making it easier to mechanically release bonded joints or remove glue stains from various surfaces. It's ideal for situations where you need to release a bonded joint or remove unwanted adhesive residues from solvent-resistant materials.
The debonder is easy to apply and after a short working time (approximately 5 minutes), it allows for the cured glue to be scraped off or wiped away with a soft cloth. When used on fabrics, it is recommended to place a clean cloth under the area to absorb excess debonder, and the process can be repeated as needed. After the glue is removed, it is important to wash the surface or fabric with lukewarm water to remove any remaining debonder.
It is important to test the debonder on a small area before use to ensure it does not damage the material from which you intend to remove the glue, especially when working with sensitive materials that are not resistant to organic solvents, such as foam polystyrene or certain synthetic fabrics. The debonder should be stored in a tightly sealed container in a cool, dry, and dark place to ensure maximum shelf life.
