Da Vinci Brush Micro-Colineo set 4272
Four synthetic da Vinci Micro-Colineo Series 172 brushes in sizes 20/0, 15/0, 10/0 and 5/0 for fine miniature and model details.
The da Vinci Micro-Colineo 4272 set contains four fine Series 172 brushes for miniatures, tabletop figures and small model details. Sizes are 20/0, 15/0, 10/0 and 5/0, listed by the manufacturer as −20, −15, −10 and −5. The selection lets you match the point to small markings, fine edges and delicate strokes.
COLINEO uses synthetic fibres developed as an alternative to Kolinsky hair. Straight and wavy fibres of different lengths combine a fine point with spring and paint capacity. The manufacturer lists acrylic and oil paints as suitable media; these brushes contain no natural sable hair.
Short hexagonal handles allow close control at the workpiece and resist rolling off the table. A blue band identifies the Micro-Colineo range. This is a detail-oriented set; a larger brush is a useful companion for basecoating broad areas.
