EFKA / MiG-21F-13 in Czechoslovak service 1/48
Eduard 1/48 EFKA / MiG-21F-13 in Czechoslovak Service is a limited edition plastic model kit of the Soviet supersonic fighter aircraft that served in the Czechoslovak Air Force since 1961. The kit contains 8 markings, etched and resin parts, masks and a book. The package does not include the paints or glues needed for assembly.
The MiG-21F-13, designated "Fishbed" in NATO code, was one of the first mass-produced supersonic aircraft of the Soviet Union. It entered service in the late 1950s and became a symbol of the Cold War. With more than 10,000 units produced, the MiG-21 became the most widely used supersonic aircraft in history and participated in a wide range of conflicts - from the Middle East to Southeast Asia.
The Czechoslovak Air Force inducted the MiG-21 into service in 1961, and the type formed the backbone of its fighter force until the early 21st century. The first version of the F-13 was armed with twin cannons and the ability to carry K-13 cruise missiles.
The Eduard 1/48 scale kit comes in a limited "EFKA" edition and offers 8 variants of Czechoslovak MiG-21F-13 markings. The package includes detailed etched parts, resin accessories, masks and an extensive accompanying publication by Martin Janoušek on the history and service of the MiG-21 in Czechoslovakia. The high level of detail and rich content make this edition an ideal choice for experienced modellers and those interested in Czechoslovak aviation history.
The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
