Fw 190A-5 1/48
Plastic model kit of the German World War II fighter aircraft Focke-Wulf Fw 190 A-5, Profipack edition in 1:48 scale. All aircraft in the kit are armed with four cannons in the wing.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 was a single-seat, single-engine fighter aircraft used by the German Luftwaffe. In its day, it was undoubtedly one of the best fighters. From 1941 until the end of the war, approximately 20,000 aircraft were produced. The A-5 version was developed after it was determined that the Fw 190 could easily be equipped with more powerful armament. The D-2 engine was moved forward by 15 cm, a solution that had been verified on an A-3/U1 test aircraft. Between November 1942 and June 1943, 1,752 A-5 variants were produced.
