Gaahleri 43431 Voortex Airbrush Paint Shaker (EU)
The Gaahleri Voortex 43431 is an automatic paint shaker in the EU version that mixes paint inside the bottle with a fast vortex motion. It takes bottles 25–50 mm in diameter (10–60 ml) and offers three speed settings.
The Voortex is driven by a brushless motor reaching up to 3,500 RPM, which the manufacturer says will remix settled pigment as well as heavy metallic and pearl paints. The three presets (low, med, high) and the mixing time of 0 to 3 minutes are both set with a single control on the side of the unit. Progress is shown by a digital countdown together with an LED indicator showing speed and time remaining.
A stepped, flexible holder and a top clamping plate keep the bottle in place, so it stays put during mixing without being held by hand. According to Gaahleri, quiet running comes from a dual-layer vibration-damping housing and a silicone base with feet, which also stop the unit from wandering across the workbench. Gaahleri makes the Voortex in several regional versions; this item is the EU version.
