I/35 Box with 3.5" ammunition for M20A Super Bazooka

Firma49 A006 is a set of ammunition boxes and 3.5-inch rockets for the M20A Super Bazooka in 1/35 scale. It suits Korean War and post-war scenes with US infantry, a supply point or a weapon crew. Separate lids allow the boxes to be displayed open or closed. The resin parts are produced by high-resolution SLA 3D printing.

Recommended procedure

1. Soak the parts in hot water before removing supports. The resin softens slightly, reducing the risk of chipping during cutting or drilling, and regains its hardness after cooling.
2. Remove supports in small sections with fine cutters and clean the contact points carefully to protect the thin edges of rounds and cartridge cases.
3. Degrease the parts, allow them to dry and apply a thin primer coat. Plan their positions in a box, beside the gun or in the scene before painting.
4. Apply metallic colours in thin coats and distinguish primers, projectiles and cases according to period references. A restrained wash will enhance detail without flooding it.
5. Bond the resin parts with a small amount of cyanoacrylate adhesive. Polystyrene cement will not join them.

The set contains only the accessories listed; gun, figures, vehicle and display base are not included.

Use suitable model paints and primers and cyanoacrylate adhesives for assembly and finishing.
