I/72 Headers with British helmet MK1

Firma49 F017 is a set of 8 heads wearing British MK1 helmets in 1/72 scale. Two expressions support both a calm crew and a dynamic scene with calling British or Commonwealth soldiers. The resin parts are produced by high-resolution SLA 3D printing.

Recommended procedure

1. Soak the parts in hot water before removing supports. The resin softens slightly, reducing the risk of chipping during cutting or drilling, and regains its hardness after cooling.
2. Remove supports in small sections with fine cutters and clean contact points carefully to protect faces, fingers, straps and thin edges.
3. Degrease the parts, let them dry and apply a thin primer coat. Paint in several thin layers to preserve fine detail.
4. Bond resin parts with a small amount of cyanoacrylate adhesive. Polystyrene cement will not join them.

Plastic figures and diorama are not included.

Use suitable model paints and primers and cyanoacrylate adhesives for assembly and finishing.
