Information about the original:
The BF-109 G represents a logical evolutionary step from the previous F version of the famous German fighter aircraft that dominated the skies in the early stages of World War II. The new model was equipped with a more powerful engine to increase its speed and enable it to fly at higher altitudes. Some aircraft also had greater firepower to compete even with large Allied bombers. By the end of 1943, the BF-109 G formed the backbone of the Luftwaffe and saw action on all fronts, where it proved to be an equal opponent to the Allied air forces right up until the very end of the conflict.
