Model Kit military 6135 - GERMAN PONTOON SET (1:35)
Dragon 6135 German Pontoon Set is a 1/35 plastic kit of a German Second World War pontoon set. It belongs to the Dragon '39–'45 Series and offers a subject for river-crossing dioramas.
During the Second World War, German engineer units used pontoons and boats to move vehicles, weapons and troops quickly across rivers and canals. Inflatable pontoons and a wooden platform could be assembled into a simple ferry able to carry light vehicles.
The Dragon kit from the '39–'45 Series reproduces this engineer equipment in 1/35 scale. The box art shows two inflatable pontoons carrying a wooden platform with a ramp, alongside a boat with an outboard motor.
The set is a natural basis for a river-crossing diorama that can be completed with vehicles, figures and a water surface. Paints and glues required for assembly are not included.
Nationality: Germany. Period: World War II.
