Model Kit military 6516 - Sd.Kfz.251/9 Ausf.D mit KANONE 37 (1:35)
Dragon 6516 Sd.Kfz.251/9 Ausf.D mit 7.5cm Kanone 37 is a 1/35 plastic kit of the German half-track fire support vehicle. It belongs to the '39–'45 Series.
The Sd.Kfz.251 was the most widespread German half-track armoured personnel carrier of the Second World War and spawned many specialised versions. The 251/9 carried the short 7.5 cm KwK 37 L/24 gun and provided direct fire support for the Panzergrenadiers. The Ausf.D was the final production version with a simplified hull of fewer, flat plates, built from 1943.
The Dragon kit from the '39–'45 Series depicts this vehicle in the Ausf.D version. The box art shows a vehicle in three-colour camouflage with spare road wheels on the rear of the hull.
The short gun in the open fighting compartment gives the model a characteristic look and suits scenes from the fighting of 1943–1945. Paints and glues required for assembly are not included.
Nationality: Germany. Period: World War II.
