Tamiya 35186 German Fuel Drum
Tamiya 35186 German Fuel Drum Set is a 1/35 scale plastic kit of German fuel drums and jerry cans. Hand pumps for the drums and faucets for the water cans are also included.
During WWII the German army supplied its units with fuel and water in drums and jerry cans. The drums are recognisable by their twin protective bands and central filler cap, the jerry cans by their distinctive caps and central embossing.
Set 35186 from Tamiya's 1/35 Military Miniature series faithfully captures all of these features. Besides the drums and cans themselves, it includes hand pumps for the drums and faucets for the cans. It works as stowage for vehicles, for field fuel dumps and in dioramas with a German theme.
Small 1/35 scale parts like these come alive with careful painting and subtle weathering such as rust and fuel stains. Paints and glues required for assembly are not included.
