Model Kit tank 13567 - Panzer III Ausf.N. Afrika Korps (1:35)
The Academy 13567 Panzer III Ausf.N "Afrika Korps" is a 1/35 plastic kit of the German Second World War medium tank. It depicts the version with the short 75 mm gun in desert colours.
The Panzer III Ausf.N was the support version of the German Panzer III medium tank. Instead of an anti-tank gun it carried the short 7.5 cm KwK 37 L/24 taken from earlier Panzer IVs, firing mainly high-explosive rounds against infantry and fortifications. These tanks fought in North Africa, including Tunisia, and also accompanied the heavy Tiger tanks.
The Academy kit depicts an Afrika Korps tank in sand colour. The box art shows the vehicle with turret number 04, the DAK emblem on the front hull and spare track links on the front armour.
The desert finish and Afrika Korps equipment offer scope for dust and faded paint effects, so the model fits well into a North African battlefield scene. Paints and glues required for assembly are not included.
Nationality: Germany · Italy. Period: World War II.
