1/35 GAZ-AAA w/QUAD M4 MAXIM - Miniart
The MiniArt 1/35 GAZ-AAA w/Quad M4 Maxim is a plastic kit of the Soviet truck carrying a quad Maxim anti-aircraft machine-gun mount. The kit has 659 parts, photo-etch and decals.
Quad Maxim machine-gun mounts on the beds of GAZ-AAA trucks were a common Red Army air defence weapon during the Second World War, protecting convoys, airfields and rear-area installations against low-flying aircraft.
The kit from the WW II Military Miniatures Series contains 659 parts, photo-etched details and decals. It depicts the three-axle GAZ-AAA with a wooden cargo bed carrying the M4 quad Maxim mount on a pedestal.
The truck with its distinctive weapon is an interesting subject for a collection of Soviet vehicles and for a 1/35 diorama. Paints and glues required for assembly are not included.
