Mr. Masking Sol Neo (25 ml)
Gunze Mr. Masking Sol Neo (25 ml) is a Mr. Hobby liquid masking compound based on a vinyl emulsion. The bottle has a brush built into the cap, and the product is intended mainly for masking larger areas.
Mr. Masking Sol Neo from Gunze (Mr. Hobby) is an emulsion-type, vinyl-based masking agent supplied in a 25 ml bottle with a brush attached to the cap. Once dry it forms a continuous protective film over the areas that are to stay free of paint.
The manufacturer points out that the film cannot be cut with a knife, so it recommends Masking Sol Neo for masking larger areas and for preventing paint from creeping in during spraying. It therefore complements the Mr. Hobby masking tapes and sheets, where precise cutting is the point. The Gunze range also includes the liquid mask Mr. Masking Sol Kai 2 (M135), whose dried film, by contrast, can be cut with a knife.
