When introduced, the PZL P.11 was among the most modern fighter aircraft. It featured an all-metal construction and the characteristic high-mounted “Polish” wing, which provided the pilot with excellent visibility. In the second half of the 1930s, it served as the primary fighter aircraft of the Polish Air Force and also played a significant role in Romania.
