Red Fox Studio 1/48 Asphalt Diorama Base - France 380x320mm
Red Fox Studio 1/48 Asphalt Diorama Base – France is a printed PVC display base for aircraft models, decorated with ARMEE DE L’AIR lettering and a roundel. It measures 380 × 320 mm and is 5 mm thick; no aircraft is supplied.
Red Fox Studio 1/48 Asphalt Diorama Base – France centres its decoration on aviation markings: it shows ARMEE DE L’AIR lettering and a roundel on an asphalt pattern. This is a themed display setting rather than a documentary reproduction of an airfield.
The 380 × 320 mm dimensions and 5 mm thickness refer to the PVC sheet, not a layer of asphalt: the depth effect is printed. The manufacturer states that the base can be cut to size. No aircraft is supplied. Trimming may remove part of the ARMEE DE L’AIR lettering.
