AK Interactive AK9526 Rivet Marking Set 2 (1:48) Includes three toothed wheels for creating rows of rivets in 1:48 scale. The wheels are clamped into a handle with a 6 mm shank, such as the AK9011 or AK9515, and when guided across the surface, they imprint a regular row of recessed rivets.
Recommended Procedure
- First, mark the rivet line on the model using tape, a ruler, or a fine line.
- Guide the wheel slowly and with even pressure. Test the pressure on a scrap piece of plastic first.
- Use a rigid guide for long, straight lines; work in shorter sections on curved surfaces.
- After riveting, clean the surface with a fine-grit sanding sponge and inspect it under the primer.
