The triangular beams of Tamiya 70117 from the Educational Construction Series (Craft) have an isosceles cross-section with two equal 3 mm sides. The polystyrene can be cut, snapped and bent into the shape required and offers good water resistance.
Tamiya notes that the beams can be used with plastic model cement and combined with Tamiya plastic plates. They are useful for scratchbuilding, dioramas and model conversions.
