Within the Tamiya Finishing Abrasives range, P800 is one of the finer grades. It is useful for smoothing after coarser sanding, tidying small irregularities in putty, or readying a surface before the final coat of paint.

Tamiya states that the sheet material prevents the abrasive surface from gumming up and that the paper is suitable for dry and wet sanding. The pack contains three 93 × 226 mm sheets.
