Tamiya 87240 is a wide blue masking tape for defining and covering larger areas during painting. Its 40 mm width is useful on R/C car bodies. The tape conforms to uneven surfaces and helps keep paint from creeping under the edge.

The roll contains 18 metres. The material resists thinners and leaves little adhesive on scissor blades when cut. It is continuous tape rather than pre-cut masks for a specific model.
