Flat ASK lead wire, 0.4 × 1.0 mm, 140 mm long, about 10 pieces per pack. The thickest of the 1 mm wide ASK flat wires is intended for straps, brackets and structural details that call for more thickness.
At 0.4 mm thick, this flat lead wire is the heaviest of the 1 mm wide versions in the ASK range (alongside 0.2 × 1.0 mm and 0.3 × 1 mm). The strips are 140 mm long and the pack contains about ten pieces.
Lead is soft and malleable, and bent wire keeps its shape. Modellers use it for bands, buckles and brackets, as well as for internal structures of engine bays, wings and fuselages, wheel wells or vehicles.
