Vallejo Diorama FX Mars Red (26.306) is a pre-coloured, dry mineral granulate in an extreme fraction of 2-5 mm. These are no crumbs - these "planetary pieces" simulate broken, oxidized rocks and massive debris typical of hematite-rich planets or the rockiest Mediterranean hills.

This granularity is designed to create a distinctive, three-dimensional relief. It is indispensable for larger scale models where the visual depth of the terrain must match the dimensions of a tank or spaceship. The rich rusty red hue will add a dramatic, alien feel to your scene while creating a great contrast for patination techniques.

Giant Rock Manual (Stability is key): remember that although these rocks look invincible, they are still loose particles. In order to make them a solid and durable terrain that can handle the journey to the competition, you need to fix them effectively. Simply shape your rubble field and then saturate with a quality fixing medium such as Vallejo Terrain Fixer. The fixer will soak in capillarily, firming each piece and leaving a realistic, matte finish.
