Vallejo Model Wash 76521 Oiled Earth (35ml)

Vallejo Wash FX 76521 Oiled Earth (35 ml) is an acrylic wash from Vallejo Wash FX in the Oiled Earth finish. It is used to simulate accumulated dust, earth, dried operational traces, and natural dirt on vehicles, equipment, chassis, and dioramas.

Dust and earth washes work well as a localized filter around chassis, wheels, tracks, lower hull areas, and on terrain. Apply in thin layers, increasing intensity only where dust would naturally accumulate.

It is better to use the wash gradually. One thick layer often creates blotches, while multiple thin layers allow for better control of contrast, dirt, and the resulting depth of detail. For cleaner work, it is advisable to protect the model with a satin or gloss varnish before applying the wash.
